Massage Services

Swedish

Swedish massage uses a variety of techniques that are meant to relax the body from light to deep pressures.  Swedish massage uses long, fluent strokes following the blood flow in the direction toward the heart creating the ultimate relaxing experience.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue uses specific techniques to delve into multiple layers of muscle and fascia tissues to improve posture, movement and relieve stress and tension.

Trigger Point

Trigger point therapy uses concentrated finger pressure over sensitive parts of a muscle to relax it and release the stored lactic acid.  Releasing trigger points is important as they end up referring paint to other parts of the body.

Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient Chinese technique that uses pressure points to restore the energy throughout the entire body.  Through the feet, the entire body (including the organs) can be addressed.  Through pressure and manipulation, nerve function, blood supply, and nutrients can be properly delivered to poorly functioning areas of the body creating balance.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that focuses on the bones of the head, spinal column, and sacrum.  Non-intrusive techniques are used to release these areas and their symptoms such as chronic neck and back pain, headaches (tension, migraine, and cluster), TMJ dysfunction, auditory problems, emotional trauma, etc.

Sports Massage

Sports massage applies certain techniques in a timely and systematic way in order to adjust soft tissue to support the athlete's function and support in their sport.  Sports massage increases blood flow, increases range of motion, and decreases stress and tension.

Russian Sports Massage

Russian sports massage involves using both stimulating and relaxing techniques.  These techniques are used in a very specific way to increase blood flow to each segment of the body, lymph return, metabolism, range of motion, and speed of tissue regeneration.

Chakra Alignment Therapy *

In chakra alignment therapy, there is the intention to balance the seven main chakras of the body which include the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third-eye, and crown chakras.  These chakras hold our mental and emotional states, which are thrown off balance when we have physical pain or traumas.  Setting these chakras back in balance improves the healing processes and the connection between the mind, body, and soul.

* Denotes an extra charge for specialty service.  These services are an additional $20 on top of standard massage pricing.
